Damn, I couldn’t come up with a catchy title for this one. But, you get it.
So because I’m a bad friend and it’s taken me eight years to write this, HUGE SHOUTOUT TO BRE FOR BEING SO PATIENT WITH ME.
My girlfriend Breanne Brownmiller reps Herbalife products and they always have such cool flavours of everything, so secretly, deep down I’ve been wanting to try anything and everything out. She was gracious enough to mail me FOUR different flavours of the energy supplement they have called Liftoff!
As I share in the video… I’m not an energy drink-drinker
In fact, I rather despise energy drinks because of their intense sugars and just all around bad shit in them. Plus, they usually taste like squirrel pee.. IMHO! Also I tend to get horrible reactions to caffeine so I try and stay away. I think that’s why it took me so long to try it out because honestly I was petrified of the migraine that would ensue. But guess what, I’m here, headache-less, and ready to tell you all about my experience with Liftoff!
What is Liftoff?

Basically, it’s a tablet you drop in some water that’s not the worst thing for you and it makes you less sleepy and more losey-weighty! Did you see the caloric intake btw?! Typical energy drinks are about 3x more than that.
So, what’s all the fuss?
I can usually feel myself getting tired by mid-afternoon, depending on when I wake up. And honestly, I’ve never really thought about an energy supplement as an option because of my adverse reaction to caffeine (which now I’m starting to think is to do with something else??). But when I’m hustling all day and don’t want to crash by 7pm. I would gladly take a glass of this stuff. If it’s a placebo effect, fine, it still tastes fricken good for only being 15 calories. I’m not a huge working out fan, but I could definitely see this being beneficial for those who do- and multiple times a day. The way things are going these days, it’s all about who can be the most organic and natural, and I think these guys are pretty close. It’s a game-changer for ‘energy drinks’ and I would really like to know if it could replace the energy drink addicts intake.
So, does it work?
Because energy drinks aren’t part of my daily routine, I can’t comment on how effective it would be for someone who does rely on them. But I can say, it’s delicious, I had ZERO inkling of a headache from the caffeine, and I felt more productive. The one downside is I definitely felt a crash later on. But by, later on, I mean about 7-hours later and it was time for bed so it worked out quite well!
My boyfriend, Michael, tried it out as well but said as much as he enjoyed it, he didn’t feel much of a difference in fatigue etc. I truly believe it’s because he dropped it into a huge bottle of water. DON’T DO THAT. It says 8oz for a reason. It obviously needs to be more concentrated for it to work better, especially because he’s a bigger dude. Typical boys not following directions….
Let’s Talk Pricing
